Shipping Information
New! Discount:
While shipping is safe, handing a puppy directly to his/her owner is the safest of all! New owners willing to meet us in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho receive a twenty-five percent (%25) discount off of any puppy listed!
Shipping Cost:
$225 to $380, depending on destination and size/weight of puppy. Older puppies and adults are more costly to ship than young puppies.
Because our airport is quite small, I am limited to Delta or Alaska Airlines. Buyer pays actual shipping costs, only. I do not 'mark-up' shipping fees.
Costs include:
Safety:
While there are some risks (just as driving to work has risks) the vast majority of puppies arrive safe and sound, without any side effects.
Process:
Reservations are made with an airline, the puppy goes to the veterinarian for a health certificate, I take the puppy to the airport, and the new owners pick up at their airport. (Really, it's that simple!) I generally do all of the work, unless the new owner feels strongly about making the arrangements themselves.
Other Options:
Hawaii:
Canada:
International (not including Canada):

Costs include:
- Airfare. See Delta's current rates here. Depending on the destination, I may be able to use Alaska Airlines, which is generally less expensive. See their rates here. Please note the airfare listed for each airline does not include tax, security surcharge, or terminal fees. These usually come to around $20 over the listed price.
- Airline approved shipping crate ($27 - $35 for eight-week-old puppies).
- Veterinary exam/health certificate which is required by the airline, and must be issued within ten days of flight. If the health certificate is issued on the day of the eight-week check-up, it is $11.00, as I receive a litter discount. Otherwise, the cost is $45.50 for exam/certificate.
- Puppies over 12 weeks are required by Alaska Airlines to be vaccinated against rabies. This is $17.50.
- We're approximately 50 miles from the airport in Spokane, WA, but as we can generally combine the trip with a personal one, I don't have a mileage/fuel fee. :)
- I have no control over these costs, and try to save clients money when I can.

Other Options:
- Ground transport companies which handle pets. I will only use these companies if the new owner handles ALL arrangements and prepays for the puppy/dog in question.
- Delivery. We occasionally deliver to Seattle, WA. However, I hate driving and charge accordingly for this service. 'In-Person Pickup' discounts will not apply.
Hawaii:
- Sorry, not currently available.
Canada:
- Currently, Vancouver only. The airlines I use (Delta and Alaska), do not have routes from Spokane, WA to most locations in Canada. However I am happy to meet new owners at the Spokane airport. The puppy may then be flown under the owner's seat back to Canada.
- Many of my Canadian customers drive across the border to pick up their puppy. (In most cases I can meet you on the US side of the Creston border crossing.)
International (not including Canada):
- Shipping outside of the USA is possible, but is expensive and time consuming. I will only ship to these areas if the new owner handles all arrangements, and prepays for the puppy/dog in question.
